For your dog's health and mental well-being, we offer playtime
and woodland walks. Sorry,
these extras are currently available for
dogs only. Playtimes are with an employee only (we do
not do "daycare" type playtimes with multiple strange dogs. If
you have multiple dogs, yes, they
can go out together, or if your dog knows another dog boarding and
both owners have given
permission for them to play together, then they can do so. The
pooltime is like playtime except
your dog will be able to make use of our wading pool. They will be
towel-dried afterwards.
If he/she does not have any interest in the pool, then we will do
regular playtime instead and
charge accordingly.
Special arrangements may be made for cats, birds, or exotics
who are amenable to handling by
multiple persons.
We have 3 grassy
fenced play yards for your dog's pleasure
- 20' X 60' yard for small to medium dogs.
- 20' x 70' yard for medium to large dogs.
- 56' x 100' for large to giant dogs only.
- Trails:
Pine and Oak Trails, Back Forty Trail and Crosscut Trail, winding
through 3 plus acres of pines and oaks.
We strongly recommend your dog be on Frontline if he or she is to be
taking advantage of our
outdoor activities, since we do have a
population of squirrels and rabbits which share the 7 acres.
All exercise periods are limited to 15 minutes per session and to 2
sessions per day, in order to
allow each pet plenty of attention and
activity.
If weather conditions do not permit an activity on a given day, the
charge will be removed from
your bill.
